You can search for a job and click either the Apply now button or the Express interest button to apply to any open position or evergreen role on the EH Jobs web platform.
When you go through the application process for any opportunity, the platform provides AI tailoring to help your profile match the role. Your original profile is always preserved, and you can edit or hide as many or as few details as you like.
Pre-apply and post-apply steps
- Log in to your Employment Hero Jobs web platform account.
- Select Jobseeker Login (Jobs Board).
- Click Find Work then type your desired job in the search bar.
- Select the job to view its Description and AI Job Summary.
- (Optional) Click Analyse my fit. A Match Analysis box will appear and provide an AI-generated suitability rating (such as 'Good Match') based on your:
- Experience
- Qualifications
- Skills

Click Apply now (or Express interest if the job title says 'Expression of Interest').
Important
Expression of interest (EOI) jobs stay open until the employer(s) close them. Submitting your application after clicking Express interest adds you to the employer's talent pool for future consideration.
- Under Selected resume, click the dropdown and select your most suitable resume.
- Review your AI-tailored summary. Expand the Experiences, Education, and Certifications sections by clicking each downward arrow (∨).
- Edit any details the AI has generated, edited, or removed by clicking:
- Edit (pencil icon) to tweak the details
- Hide (eye icon) to remove a section
- Add experience/education/certifications to add further items or to re-select hidden items
- (Optional) Tick Include cover letter..., then either click Upload, type the letter manually, or click AI Generate.

Click Submit application if there are no pre-screening questions.
- If there are pre-screening questions, click Continue, review the pre-filled form, then click Submit application.
Helpful Hint
Screening questions are set by the employer, but the answers are AI-generated based on your profile and resume. You can edit these answers directly on the form to ensure they are accurate before you submit.
- Check your inbox for a job application confirmation email.
- (Optional) Add your phone number if prompted by the Employment Hero Jobs web platform, then click Continue (or otherwise Skip).
- Click View applications if you want to see any previous jobs you've applied to.
- If applicable, check the box under the View applications button to see any preferences the AI has added based on your activity. You can edit these anytime by clicking Profile from the main menu.
- Click Explore more jobs. This takes you back to the Find Work page.

Receiving notifications
You can opt in or out of text notifications at any time. These include:
- Reminders to complete unfinished applications and screening questions
- Messages from hiring managers interested in recruiting you
Every application triggers a confirmation email. Alongside verifying your submission was successful, they may suggest recommended roles based on your profile.
In these emails, you can also click applied jobs or View more jobs to manage your application history and explore new opportunities on your Employment Hero Jobs web platform account.
