How to find work


The Find Work feature lets you view a map or list of local businesses. You can then express interest in working at that location.

See who's hiring now

  1. Tap the Find Work button.
  2. At the top of the screen, you will see the Hiring Now section.
  3. Scroll to the left to see the businesses that are currently hiring. 

Search for a job

  1. Tap the Find Work button.
  2. Tap the Filter button to refine your search.
  3. You can search by location, industry, business type, business name, role type, and open hours. You can also hide businesses that you have already applied for.
  4. Tap the Bell button to see any new notifications.
  5. Tap the Map button to view the map location.
  6. Tap a business to browse their Google Business page. 
  7. To apply,‌ tap the Plus button for each business you want to express interest in.
  8. Tap the Share Profile with Place button.
  9. Complete the on-screen confirmation popups.

Quick Apply to a role

  1. Tap the Find Work button.
  2. Tap the Filter button to refine your search.
  3. You can search by location, industry, business type, business name, role type, and open hours. You can also hide businesses that you have already applied for.
  4. Tap a business to read more about it.
  5. Tap Quick Apply.

  6. Check your details and add anything that could improve your application.
  7. Tap Share your profile.

 

Tips for Success

  • Look for the Hiring Now tag: On businesses who are currently hiring, you will see a Hiring Now tag.
  • Keep your profile updated: A well-crafted profile and video introduction increase your chances of standing out to recruiters.
  • Use filters wisely: These help narrow down your results, saving you time and helping you focus on jobs that are the best fit.
  • Stay notified: Check your notifications regularly to stay on top of new opportunities.
  • Select multiple suburbs: Don't limit yourself to your own suburb! You can expand your search to surrounding suburbs.
